About The Position

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support our In-Home Services and CDS teams in Springfield. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office, enjoys helping people, and can keep multiple moving pieces organized without missing the details. You will be a key part of the daily operation by supporting staff, communicating with clients and caregivers, and helping keep the office running smoothly behind the scenes.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Professional attitude and dependable work ethic
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous office or administrative experience preferred
  • No healthcare experience? That’s okay. We will train the right person with the right attitude and work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and warmth
  • Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Prepare emails, letters, forms, and reports
  • Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
  • Order and track office supplies
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal staff and external clients
  • Assist leadership and team members with projects and day to day support
