About The Position

Hanson International, located in St. Joseph, Michigan, specializes in the design, build, sample, and inspection of precision molds – primarily for the die cast industry. Hanson International is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time administrative assistant role.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook calendar management
  • Active learning, good judgment, and time management skills
  • Strong math and communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team to achieve goals
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and greeting visitors
  • Collecting and distributing mail
  • Preparing communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence
  • Creating and maintaining both electronic and physical filing systems
  • Managing office supplies and inventory
  • Providing general clerical support
  • Supporting the President’s calendar (must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook calendar management)
  • Coordinating on- and off-site meetings for the President and HR
  • Assisting with travel arrangements
  • Assisting with HR-related projects
  • Creating invitations, birthday notices, and welcome notices
  • Running clerical errands and handling miscellaneous duties
