About The Position

The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for the plant’s customers, requiring a high level of customer service acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This individual will have the ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks, a desire to take charge, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an Administrative Assistant role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Event coordination experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced and highly available environment

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and filter those calls to the appropriate person.
  • Document actions for plant safety committee meetings.
  • Assist pick-up customers.
  • Assist with coordination of employee KPA, Moodle trainings.
  • Assist with product weight entries.
  • Update QSS, procedures, and internal quality forms as needed.
  • Enter raw material and cycle time data for KPIs.
  • Create and distribute product labels.
  • Assist with planning/facilitation of employee events.
  • Assist HR with employee onboarding, including drug screens and onboarding training.
  • Assist with facilitation of employee hearing screenings.
  • Create and post employee birthdays and service milestones on the company bulletin board and slideshows.
  • Update Plant Slideshow monthly.
  • Update/Maintain facility bulletin boards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
