First Steps Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center (ICSC), operated by Samaritan Daytop Village in Rockland County, is a 24/7 program dually licensed by OMH and OASAS to provide rapid, short-term support for children ages 5+ and adults in mental health or substance use crisis. Our multidisciplinary team utilizes a trauma-informed, harm-reduction framework to stabilize individuals and connect them with long-term care while avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits. We are seeking a professional and welcoming Administrative Assistant to serve as the primary point of contact for the front desk. This individual ensures smooth daily operations by greeting visitors, managing schedules, and handling phone calls in a trauma-informed manner. The role is responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, and maintaining secure electronic health records. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong customer service background who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
