About The Position

As an administrative assistant at Wolfspeed’s Fayetteville Campus, you will play a key role in the protection of people, property, and information while supporting the success of our company by being a member of Wolfspeed’s Global Packaging Development. The hours will be from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This role reports to the Fayetteville Site Lead.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • 2-3 years of successful experience in an administrative/receptionist support role
  • Excellent character, integrity, customer service, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, initiative-taking and works with limited direction
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Must be capable of frequent lifting and/or moving up to ten pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to twenty-five pounds
  • Must be willing to provide life saving techniques to the level of your training in the event of an emergency until relieved by more qualified personnel
  • This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations
  • Must complete all required Wolfspeed training for the position of Administrative Assistant
  • This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.

Responsibilities

  • Prompt, friendly greeting of all employees, visitors, and guests entering the main lobby entrance. Interface with external vendors and customers
  • Proficient answering and directing of all incoming phone calls to the main switchboard at a rate of approximately thirty calls per hour
  • Registering of visitors and guests using the access control software system provided
  • Maintain the conference room calendar and ensure the conference rooms are clean and ready for use
  • Keep the lobby desk area clean, organized, and professional always.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, customers, visitors, and vendors
  • Assist with requests from other administrative people in the building such as requests for assistance from HR administrative assistants
  • Assist the team with procurement, purchase orders and expense report procedures/tasks
  • Other administrative duties assigned by the Site Lead or his/her direct reports including but not limited to providing backup administrative support to other areas of the company.
