About The Position

This role helps to triage and respond to inquiries from leaders, staff and faculty of the University. The incumbent processes benefit enrollment and beneficiary forms and provides information on benefit entitlement both orally and in writing to ensure that new employees understand their benefit entitlement. Coordinates administrative support for workshops, including managing correspondence and arranging logistics and performs a wide variety of other administrative duties. Requirements

  • One year of post-secondary education in business administration, human resource management or a related discipline, and two years of related administrative and office experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential issues with diplomacy and tact.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy for ill or disabled employees and to listen and effectively converse with a respectful and supportive demeanor.
  • Advanced administrative and organizational skills.
  • Advanced analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced communication (verbal and written) skills.
