About The Position

CAMS (Community Association Management Services), a local HOA Management firm and part of the Associa family, is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the management of an on-site community in Durham, NC. This role involves assisting the Community Manager with various administrative tasks, homeowner communication, board meeting support, and financial report analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Community Manager in all aspects of the job
  • Greet, welcome and direct homeowners that come into the office/clubhouse
  • Provide administrative support, requiring proficiency in software usage/technology
  • Assist with communication to community board of directors
  • Schedule, prepare, and attend regular board meetings, including taking meeting minutes
  • Maintain communication with homeowners
  • Prepare homeowner packets
  • Sell real estate signs and monitor inventory
  • Maintain the community owner website
  • Respond to homeowner needs
  • Assist in the analysis of monthly financial reports and learn to create variance reports for the boards of directors
  • Contribute to monthly management reports
  • Contact vendors for community maintenance and special projects
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned
