Administrative Assistant (Contract) – Data Mapping Project Location: Maryland (Hybrid/Remote as applicable) Job Type: Contract Experience Level: Entry to Mid‑Level We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Administrative Assistant to support a statewide data mapping and business process analysis project across all 24 Maryland Circuit Courts. This role will provide direct administrative and coordination support to the data mapping and process analysis team. We are in the bidding process of this contract. Please note that all applicants MUST reside in Maryland.

Requirements

  • Administrative or project support experience (government, court, or professional services experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured project environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
  • MUST reside in Maryland

  • Experience supporting data collection, research, or business process projects
  • Experience coordinating meetings or stakeholder engagement activities across multiple locations
  • Comfort working with both technical and non‑technical teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the data mapping and analysis team, including project managers, analysts, and subject matter experts
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder engagements (virtual and, when required, on‑site)
  • Assist with preparation, distribution, and tracking of: Surveys and polls, Data collection instruments, Meeting agendas and notes
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, datasets, and deliverables in accordance with project standards
  • Track stakeholder participation and follow up on outstanding information requests
  • Assist with compiling, formatting, and proofreading reports, process documentation, and presentation materials
  • Maintain schedules, task lists, and activity logs to support project milestones and timelines
  • Coordinate communications between the project team, AOC staff, and Circuit Court stakeholders
  • Support data quality and version control for collected materials
