About The Position

BrokerLink is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their growing team. This role will provide administrative support for the life and group benefits teams, assisting with policy delivery and renewals to ensure a preferred client experience. The position involves handling daily correspondence, processing information in the broker management system, and collaborating with the administration team on new client profiles and lead triaging. The Administrative Assistant will also prepare monthly referral bonus payments, assist with E&O and licensing duties for advisors, provide excellent customer service, and handle client premium and commission transactions. Additionally, the role includes providing backup support for monthly client billing reports, ensuring accuracy, and assisting with special projects as needed. Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills
  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail

  • Computer skills - Keyboarding and MS Office
  • Intermediate Word and Excel skills required

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the life and group benefits teams by assisting with policy delivery and renewals with a view to preferred client experience
  • Handle and process daily correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and documentation in the broker management system
  • Work closely with the administration team with the creation of new client profiles and triaging of new leads
  • Prepare the monthly referral bonus payable
  • Assist with E&O and licensing duties with existing and new advisors
  • Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally
  • Transact client premium and commission
  • Provide backup support for monthly client billing reports and cross-check for accuracy and minimize errors
  • Assist with special projects as required
