About The Position

The Admin Assistant will assist department management in coordinating the day-to-day activities within the plant, as well as track and maintain data and scorecards. This role involves supporting the Production Manager with various administrative tasks, including managing calendars, coordinating travel, organizing meetings, and preparing presentations. The assistant will also monitor scorecards to ensure they are being filled out appropriately and collaborate with leads and supervisors to address any discrepancies. Additionally, the role supports employees in ensuring timely attendance at appointments and meetings.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of computer basics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ICIM, SharePoint)
  • Experience in working in manufacturing
  • Experience in working in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and arrange all recognition/celebrations for assigned group as directed by area manager
  • Assist Production manager with updating monthly/quarterly business plan matrices and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Organize team meetings, provide agendas and minutes
  • Assist the Production Manager, including managing calendars and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Assist in organizing the Plant/Production Manager’s monthly update meetings by ensuring proper scheduling, confirming attendee lists, and preparing meeting logistics.
  • Collaborate on the development of meeting content and design visually engaging PowerPoint presentations to support key updates and initiatives.
  • Assist production employees to ensure timely attendance at appointments and meetings.
  • Provide day-of reminders with details on time and location to help employees stay organized and punctual.
  • Monitor Tier 0 and Tier 1 scorecards to make sure they are being filled out appropriately and if not work with the PGM to remind Leads and Supervisors to fill in their scorecards.
