We are hiring an Administrative Assistant to add to our team. This role will support Cummings Electrical Headquarters, as well as, the HR department in various admin related duties. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are passionate about HR policies and procedures and want to work in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace, this position is for you.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Experience working in a fast paced enviornment
  • All applicants will be subject to background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming calls professionally and promptly
  • Greet and assist in-person guests with warmth and discretion
  • Ensure the front desk area is organized, presentable and welcoming at all times
  • Coordinate visitor access and direct guests appropriately
  • Manage LOTO tag distribution and tracking for job sites
  • Coordinate boot and safety glasses vouchers accurately and timely
  • Order company lunches and assist with logistics as needed
  • Support internal teams with administrative requests as assigned
  • Coordinate employee birthday cards and milestone recognition
  • Manage service awards inventory and distribution
  • Ensure employee recognition efforts are timely, accurate and meaningful
  • Partner with HR to support culture and engagement initiatives
  • Maintain tracking tools for awards, vouchers and supplies
  • Ensure requests are completed accurately and on time
  • Communicate clearly if priorities compete or supplies are low
  • Identify opportunities to improve front desk efficiency and consistency
  • Respond promptly to requests from employees, leaders and visitors
  • Balance front desk responsibilities with administrative tasks
  • Follow through on commitments and close the loop with stakeholders
