AtkinsRéalis’s Minerals and Metals team in Canada is made up of more than 400 employees who work on large-scale projects to support mining sustainability, pit-to-port opportunities, metallurgical plant engineering, or mine closure and capabilities in the study, design, and construction of mining projects across a wide range of mining and processing methods and commodities. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our North America Minerals & Metals (M&M) team and to support our growth to align with the demand to supply responsibly sourced critical minerals. Candidate must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, and be a highly organized, self-starter, with clear and proven initiative. This opportunity will be to support the M&M business located in Toronto, ON.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in administrative roles, with a preference for experience in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven self-starter capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate in Business Administration preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Travel arrangements for turnarounds and visitors as well as 3rd party visitors.
  • Assistance with site lodging and accommodations for EPCM team.
  • General administrative support.
  • IT Coordination, as well as home office support for IT equipment including printers/plotters and mobilization/demobilization of equipment to and from home office.
  • Coordination with clients, provide support to clients and M&M team to ensure policies and procedures are integrated with SNC-Lavalin’s for seamless day to day operations.
  • Provide diverse administrative support to all disciplines and leads.
  • Support, development, and issue of weekly and monthly client an internal report.
