The administrative assistant, student employee is responsible for providing routine customer service and performing clerical/administrative duties according to established procedures. This position supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence. It involves writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading documents, performing data aggregation, and responding to the needs of students, colleagues, and community members in a timely and courteous manner. The role also includes answering the phone, responding to email, forwarding messages, confirming appointments, maintaining office supply inventory, compiling and organizing information into reports, and maintaining filing systems. Daily use of basic word processing, database, and spreadsheet skills is expected, along with collecting, organizing, and composing correspondence for department staff. The job may require other duties as assigned.
