About The Position

Simply Great Staffing is partnering with a local Renton-based company to hire an experienced Administrative Assistant / Receptionist. This individual will be the face of the office—supporting daily operations, assisting multiple departments, and helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. If you enjoy staying organized, working with people, and handling a variety of tasks throughout the day, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a great team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of administrative or receptionist experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid computer skills and accurate data entry
  • Experience with timekeeping/payroll systems (Paycom is a plus)
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or equivalent work experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and employees in a professional, friendly manner
  • Answer and route incoming calls efficiently
  • Manage incoming mail and packages (including shipping/postage processing)
  • Maintain office and kitchen supplies and keep common areas organized
  • Perform data entry across internal systems
  • Create bills of lading and assist with shipping documentation
  • Support customer service, HR, and accounting teams with administrative tasks
  • Monitor employee time and attendance in the system (Paycom preferred)
  • Assist leadership with special projects and day-to-day support
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
