About The Position

Bank of New England is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to support daily office operations and provide administrative assistance to executive leadership. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, plays an important role in keeping daily operations organized, coordinating executive schedules, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, office coordinator, or similar role required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years preferred experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, office coordinator, or similar role
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Previous experience in banking, financial services, or another professional office environment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to executive leadership and management
  • Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and scheduling priorities
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, and supporting materials
  • Assist with travel arrangements and related administrative tasks
  • Prepare, edit, and organize reports, correspondence, and business documents
  • Maintain confidential files and administrative records
  • Welcome clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system
  • Assist customers by directing them to the appropriate departments
  • Support daily branch operations and general office administration
  • Help maintain an organized, professional, and customer-focused office environment
