About The Position

The Administrative Assistant – Operations & HR provides direct support to the Operations & HR Manager at RooterPLUS! Plumbing & Septic. This role ensures critical administrative, operational, and HR-related tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in maintaining communication, tracking compliance, and coordinating both office and field operations. The assistant plays a key role in supporting company culture, compliance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in administrative, HR, or operations support roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, BambooHR, and general HR/operations software tools.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable with a proactive, team-focused attitude.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage compliance and training reminders
  • Track new hire benefit enrollments and ensure timely submission of forms.
  • Coordinate 401(k) quarterly enrollment
  • Maintain BambooHR updates and employee record accuracy.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and checklist tracking.
  • Help prepare and maintain onboarding packets and orientation materials.
  • Maintain HR compliance files, reports, and employee data in coordination with the HR Manager.
  • Monitor Foley program updates and communicate required actions to manager.
  • Prepare compliance reports and assist with data collection and formatting.
  • Maintain asset management tracking and assist with fleet or equipment documentation.
  • Manage t-shirt stock, folding, and uniform inventory organization.
  • Assist with AP filing, vendor documents, and purchase order records.
  • Track and report employee incentive programs (spiff reporting and tracking).
  • Support office supply orders, food orders, and merch requests.
  • Assist in planning and executing company events, meetings, and employee celebrations.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions and employee appreciation events
  • Assist with catering orders, RSVPs, and vendor communication for internal and external events.
  • Prepare and distribute internal announcements, reminders, and updates.
  • Follow up on outstanding tasks and deadlines with department leads
  • Maintain confidentiality with employee and company information.
