Role Overview: You will serve as the Executive Assistant to the Installation Commander of Camp Atterbury – Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, providing a high-level of administrative support by conducting a multitude of research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, budgeting assistance and performing a multitude of support functions. You will act as the functional link between Post Headquarters and the Installation Directorates, primarily with the Director of Public Works.

  • A degree is not required. However, at least 7+ years of experience applying the outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Provides high level administrative assistance to an agency, department, or facility.
  • Reviews total department or agency organizational structure and functions and advises changes to promote efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Administers staff functions in support of program areas.
  • Prepares special reports on alternative methods of achieving new program responsibilities.
  • Represents agency, institutions, or departments in a variety of situations with other departments, institutions, the general public, and special interest groups.
  • Prepares responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
  • Follows-up on plans, programs, policies, and procedures to ensure progress and accomplishments.
