About The Position

Under the supervision of an Assistant Principal or Administrator with a similar level of responsibility, performs a variety of office management and clerical tasks, including facilitating communications among supervisor, parents, and staff; manages files and other record keeping systems; collects and analyzes information; prepares oral and written reports; and performs related work as required. Employees at this level work under the general supervision of an Administrator with responsibilities of a high school Assistant Principal and serves as an information liaison among the Administrator, teachers, other district personnel, and the general public. This position is distinguished from the Administrative Assistant IV position because this position does not require the coordination of the work of other clerical employees in the same office.

Requirements

  • Two years of general clerical experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent as required by Oregon Administrative Rules, Oregon Department of Education
  • Must routinely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance
  • Complete all district required trainings

  • Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships with students, fellow employees, and the general public
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all phases of work, i.e. records, meetings, etc.
  • Ability to use and navigate computer technology with high degree of proficiency
