About The Position

Steigerwaldt Land Services, Inc., a third-generation, family-owned resource solutions company, is seeking a full-time Appraisal Clerk for its Tomahawk office. This entry-level position, while previous professional experience is helpful, supports the Energy, Infrastructure, and Real Estate Division, primarily in the Appraisal department. The role involves supporting daily operations and projects related to utility corridors, public infrastructure, and conservation easements. Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in a related field preferred but not required and/or experience in a professional technical or consulting office support role.
  • Ability to work independently in varied settings with clients and other professionals.
  • General knowledge of real estate terms, mapping, and legal descriptions.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office software.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to assure products meet quality control standards.
  • Current valid driver’s license with personal vehicle suitable for potential off site research work (mileage is reimbursed).

Responsibilities

  • Assisting appraisers and appraisal staff with real estate market research, comparable and subject property data analysis and entry, and narrative report writing.
  • Provide administrative, clerical, and project support to appraisers and appraisal team.
  • Manage and organize files, documents, and contracts.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for appraisers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and appraisal information.
  • Contribute to overall Appraisal department communication efforts by reaching out to internal and external clients and outside resources to facilitate project efforts.
  • Responsible for compiling draft and final appraisal and other documents, facilitating quality control efforts and managing incoming and outgoing communications and product deliveries.
  • Responsible for new project set-up tasks and maintaining and updating department project tracking applications.
  • Other duties as assigned
