The Nevada Department of Transportation, Contract Compliance section of the Administrative Services Division, is recruiting for an Admin Assistant 3 in Carson City, NV. The position provides clerical and administrative support for programs ensuring the Nevada Department of Transportation’s compliance with Federal and State regulations related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO); Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE); and On-the-Job Training (OJT). Key duties include reviewing and tracking Certificates of Insurance for construction projects statewide, monitoring and routing messages from the department’s general email inbox, maintaining electronic filing systems, answering phones, scheduling conference rooms, ordering supplies, and coordinating travel. The role also serves as Records Coordinator, managing and responding to Public Records requests. Successful candidates are reliable, organized, detail oriented, strong communicators, and able to perform advanced administrative work in a team environment. Some travel may be required.
