About The Position

Northrop Grumman is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the Director of Operational Excellence and the Business Development (BD) Excellence team. You will be a liaison for the BD Excellence Teams for Enterprise Priority Captures, Enterprise Governance, Standards, & Training, Talent Development, and Stakeholder Engagement, ensuring smooth daily operations, coordinated cross‑functional activity, and high‑quality communications. You’ll be at the heart of a collaborative, high‑energy environment where your organizational expertise directly contributes to mission‑critical business development initiatives. Requirements

  • High school diploma + 6 years admin experience or Bachelor’s degree + 2 years admin experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), Salesforce, SharePoint, internet/intranet, et.al.
  • Experience hosting/participating in Zoom, Teams, Skype, etc.
  • Proficient with Concur, ITRIP.
  • Proven ability to handle executive‑level information with tact and discretion.
  • Anticipates needs, solves problems, meets tight deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance (up to TS/SCI).

  • Active Top‑Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Expert‑level written and verbal communication.
  • Proven track record compiling reports and building presentations independently.
  • Experience coordinating large on‑site/off‑site meetings or events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the team’s calendar, travel, and expense reports.
  • Organize and host in‑person and virtual meetings (Zoom, Teams, Skype); prepare agendas, minutes, and track follow‑up actions.
  • Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, presentations, and reports for senior leadership.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Coordinate cross‑team projects, track deliverables, and maintain SharePoint/intranet resources, and coordinating materials for export control approvals where appropriate.
  • Anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues, and keep information flow timely and accurate.
  • Support on‑site and off‑site events, ensuring all logistics are covered.
