Requirements

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university, or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
  • Must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the PA MEDI program and support related activities
  • Recruit and train volunteers who provide health insurance counseling
  • Provide information to Medicare enrollees and assist with presentations to the community
  • Guide older adults through applications, appeals, claims, and insurance comparisons
  • Prepare required reports, review correspondence, and complete administrative research
  • Assist agency departments, participate in trainings, and maintain professional communication
