About The Position

ASI-NE is seeking an organized, energetic, and passionate Administrative & Training Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail who enjoys ensuring accuracy and preventing mistakes. The specialist will be responsible for keeping daily office operations running smoothly, supporting administrative tasks, and collaborating with agency trainers to develop and enhance training curriculums. This position is a key member of both the HR and Training teams, making a meaningful impact by supporting staff and the people ASI-NE serves.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities or mental health needs
  • Age 21+
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with electronic medical records and digital database systems
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately type agency documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team-focused environment
  • Comfort with several hours of computer work and answering phones daily
  • A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn and grow
  • Professional, welcoming demeanor when interacting with visitors, staff, and consumers
  • Good physical and emotional health

Responsibilities

  • Keep daily office operations running smoothly
  • Greet consumers, employees, vendors, and visitors with a friendly, professional presence
  • Support administrative tasks (phones, filing, electronic records, data entry, documentation)
  • Assist with maintaining office security and opening/closing procedures
  • Operate standard office equipment (phones, scanner, fax/copier, postage meter)
  • Collaborate with agency trainers to develop, revise, and enhance training curriculums
  • Assist with scheduling trainings, maintaining training records, and ensuring compliance
  • Support staff training processes and contribute to a positive learning environment
