About The Position

Purple Sales Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist with strong knowledge of Canadian Accounting practices and proficiency in QuickBooks Online Accounting & Payroll. This role is crucial for developing Purple Sales' internal operations, policies, and procedures. The position involves managing daily accounting records, generating financial reports (monthly P&L, annual balance sheets, ad hoc reports), handling accounts payable and receivable, managing payroll and contractor invoices, and assisting with tax document submissions (T4, T4A, T2, GST/HST, ROE, T2200). Additionally, the role will oversee administrative sales activities, including client invoicing, vendor payments, CRM updates, proposal finalization, and identifying/applying for grants. Requirements

  • At least four years of experience using QuickBooks Online Accounting & Payroll
  • Ability to use presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Excel professionally
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and controlling Daily Accounting records
  • Monthly P&L & annual balance sheet
  • Generating ad hoc financial reports
  • Generating accounting reports as requested
  • Responding to inquiries regarding A/P & A/R
  • Account receivable management
  • Payroll management & contractor invoice management
  • Assisting with generating and/or submitting Tax documents such as T4, T4A, T2, GST/HST, ROE, T2200
  • Supervising and controlling Administrative sales activities
  • Timely client invoicing/vendor payments
  • Keeping up to date with the CRM and the different tasks in the latest stages, such as proposal update and agreement finalization.
  • Identifying Grants and preparing their application in a timely fashion
  • Generating management reports as requested
