About The Position

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and proactive self‑starter, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. The selected individual will serve as an Administrative Analyst within a US Army Aviation Product Office, providing direct support to the Product Manager and Deputy PM, to ensure efficient organizational operations. Responsibilities include comprehensive administrative support such as coordinating meetings, scheduling travel, preparing reports and correspondence, processing information requests, and liaising with Military and Civil Service members. The candidate must be able to balance competing priorities while consistently meeting all required deadlines. This position requires full‑time, on‑site support at Redstone Arsenal.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with government and contractor personnel
  • U.S. citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a government product office is preferred but not required.
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred; candidates eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a responsive, collaborative working relationship with leaders and staff to support daily operations and organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate and develop briefing packets, charts and other products for external use to ensure the message and content is consistent with product office objectives.
  • Prepare agendas for meetings. Record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings and ensure the timely fulfillment of post-meeting actions.
  • Manage calendars for leadership team, including scheduling, confirming and adjusting appointments.
  • Manage conference room reservations and resolve all scheduling conflicts.
  • Support a variety of meetings and events, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and facilitation of in‑person and virtual engagements.
  • Coordinate, set up, and execute off-site/team building activities and agency social events.
  • Support travel planning and execution using the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Prepare written correspondence in accordance with the AR 25-50. Prepare or edit directives, issuances, memoranda, policy statements, taskings, and other written guidelines. Review documents for omissions and inconsistencies and ensure data is complete and accurate.
  • Proactively identify and resolve administrative issues to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Communicate urgent or significant issues to government leadership and carry out directed actions.
