About The Position

This is a temporary Admin Assistant position that involves a mix of office and warehouse duties. The role requires providing excellent customer service, managing orders and invoices, assisting with sales, and performing inventory management. Training will be provided for operating equipment such as a forklift, panel cutter, flat shear, and trim brake. The role also includes loading and unloading customer trailers and delivery trucks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly
  • Basic computer and math skills (including making change)
  • Basic telephone skills and professional etiquette
  • Reliable transportation and strong punctuality

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or sales experience
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
  • Create quotes, process orders, and invoice customers
  • Sell products and recommend building materials
  • Calculate material “take-offs” for customer projects
  • Assist with inventory management for office and store
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment
  • Operate forklift, panel cutter, flat shear, and trim brake
  • Load and unload customer trailers and delivery trucks
