Requirements

  • One (1) year of administrative or clerical experience, including contact with the general public and demonstrated customer service skills
  • Solid computer skills in office word processing, email, spreadsheet, and presentation applications
  • Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
  • Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
  • Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, type, proofread, and finalize a wide range of documents including correspondence, reports, forms, requisitions, invoices, work orders, and training materials.
  • Copy and collate materials for distribution or records retention.
  • Collect and maintain departmental attendance records.
  • Serve as receptionist by greeting visitors, answering, screening, and directing telephone calls, gathering essential information, and providing general assistance.
  • Open, sort, record, and distribute incoming mail, documents, and payments to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain computerized and paper filing systems to support departmental operations.
  • Inventory and order office supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs and servicing of office equipment.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
