Provides clerical and operational support to the Director, Supervisors, and staff of the Pain Clinic. Supports the documentation of all departments activities and disseminates information to the patient’s records, other department records, files, and logs. Cooperates in activities of professional, clerical, and support personnel to ensure the accuracy, adequacy, and responsiveness of the variety of services provided to patients, department, and staff of the hospital. Coordinates verification of insurance coverage and prior authorizations. Team member will assist patients who need treatment requiring insurance carrier pre-authorization. Performs activities related to patient scheduling and record keeping. Staff are expected to be patient centered in the daily work providing good customer service to the patients we serve. In addition will serve as a lead for the AA team. Team member will be responsible for training new hires, staffing schedules, and be the front-line subject matter expert.
