Requirements

  • Two years manufacturing related experience (preferably in automotive)
  • Some college instruction [preferably in an engineering curriculum]
  • Ability to learn routines quickly, train others for routine positions and gathers information.
  • A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional Score of 20 on the cognitive portion).

Responsibilities

  • Generate and complete KRA documentation for assigned personnel.
  • Maintain Organizational Charts and staffing documentation for assigned group.
  • Assist in A3 generation and release per CTM, TM, PE instruction.
  • Assist TM, PE with material testing and lab requests as needed. Compile and maintain results.
  • Prepare and complete 3D prototypes in a timely manner. Maintain 3D prototype equipment and materials. Track timing and costs associated with the prototype machines.
  • Generate POs based on engineering needs.
  • Update KBPD documentation as instructed.
  • In conjunction with PE, work with prototype parts. This includes sourcing, delivery, assembly and rework as necessary.
  • Support pre-production builds. (Help acquire parts, build assemblies, safe launch, logistics, etc.)
  • At the direction of engineering staff, set up and/or back up tool trials and sampling at internal SPI or external locations.
  • Prepare shipment documents as needed, work with logistics, tooling, engineering teams to coordinate.
  • Track and distribute meeting notes as needed.
  • Interface with outside SPI support sources and vendors.
  • Work with parts as assigned, including taking measurements for KBPD documents, reworking or general builds as necessary.
  • Work with engineering staff to organize, maintain, and track build area inventories.
  • Check for relevant incoming shipments.
  • General office & administrative functions as needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
