About The Position

As a member of the Adjustments team, you will act as a force multiplier on the operations side of a rapidly scaling startup. Process-driven and people-focused, you are organized, adaptive, and strategic. As an Adjustment Analyst, you support the day-to-day administration of our clients’ 401(k) plans and ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. Being part of the Adjustment team, we expect you to be ready to build part of the organization from the ground. We need teammates who are eager to make an impact, ready to make process changes and communicate with internal teams trends and metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity to organize and meet performance goals.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to perform at high efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of task ownership.
  • Determination to overcome challenges.
  • Ability to identify and communicate process improvements.
  • Desire to actively participate on a highly engaged team.
  • 2+ years’ experience within operations of 401(k) or banking preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and reconcile 401(k) related customer and account data.
  • Process customer transactions including but not limited to contributions and distributions.
  • Become an expert at operational processes and a source of knowledge for internal stakeholders.
  • Build process and policy documentation.
  • Provide transactional assistance to Ops teams across the organization when necessary to support scenarios of high volume, interim product development, or prioritized business needs.
  • Complete assignments within SLA and adhere to high-quality standards.
  • Trace transaction information through the recordkeeping lifecycle to identify root cause.
  • Problem-solve and propose solutions.
  • Track high-level data on root cause analysis, responsibility, and financial impact.
  • Create cross-functional relationships and processes that service our clients’ corrective needs.
  • Point the way on all corrections, adhering to Human Interest’s fiduciary responsibilities.
