Medicus Economics is seeking highly skilled and motivated full-time Analysts to work in Boston, MA, in a hybrid remote/in-person environment in our Seaport office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Coursework in economics, mathematics, computer science, epidemiology or other quantitative fields preferred
  • One year of relevant work experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the healthcare system and clinical terms and concepts
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively (with teams typically 2-5 people in size)
  • The ability to work on multiple complex assignments simultaneously
  • Sustained attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn quickly and produce high-quality work
  • Applicants for employment must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Medicus Economics.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to all phases of project development, execution, and delivery
  • Exploring and analyzing healthcare data in MS Excel and other programs
  • Collecting, summarizing, and evaluating information from clinical, policy and healthcare industry sources to help provide background and context for projects
  • Drafting, editing, and proofing proposals, memos, reports, slide decks, visualizations, and other client deliverables
  • Documenting and auditing analytic processes and deliverables
  • Assisting senior staff with cultivating and developing client relationships
