About The Position

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Global Force Management Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA to support our Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G-3/5/7 Support Services contract.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with applicable DoD strategic systems to include the Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager (JCRM), Army Synchronization Tool (AST), and LogBook/Single Mobility System (SMS).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work within Government-provided software packages with emphasis on MS Office products, for example, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
  • Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
  • Require minimal supervision in the fast-paced, critical environment of the Army Headquarters.
  • Must be proficient in the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) (formerly Task Management Tool).
  • Ability to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication.
  • Ability to provide executive, technical, and administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Experience with Multinational, Interagency on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands in Policy, Bi-lateral exchanges, proficient in planning and execution of working groups.
  • Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to perform duties.
  • Ability to assist with drafting Army EXORDs, FRAGOs, meeting minutes and EXSUMs and strategic documents.
  • Experience with readiness reporting and AR 220-1, planning and execution of working groups.
  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI eligibility

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in Global Force Management (GFM), specifically force allocation, and input to the assignment and apportionment processes.
  • Assist with the review of Army Policies, Directives, and Execution Orders regarding all aspects of GFM. Review staffing products and new or amended joint policies and instructions for effects on GFM policy. Provide input to the Government lead during the formal staffing process.
  • Utilize proven interrelated analytical techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to perform research and analysis of GFM matters. Query and conduct research within authoritative database sources, including preparation of statistical data, narrative reports, and replies to inquiries from the Division Chief, Director of Operations, and other Agencies; recommend edits of draft reports and disseminate to appropriate activities as required.
  • Assist other branch/division personnel with a variety of management and administrative functions to include, but not limited to preparing analysis, gathering, and compiling data, formatting and presenting complete background material and supporting documentation, presentations, information papers, briefings, charts, graphs, and Congressional responses.
  • Provide input for meetings attended and provide written Executive Summaries (EXSUMs).
  • Maintain an automated file system to maintain copies of draft and final staff actions to share information and facilitate the accomplishment of future tasks; facilitate Knowledge Management and continuity of operations as it relates to GFM.
