About The Position

The Adjuster II adjudicates claims according to variable contract provisions, benefits, and state guidelines. The role requires understanding policy contract language, insurance applications, medical terminology, and medical aspects. This position works on-site in GTL’s Elkhorn, Nebraska office most days, with three flexible remote days per month and half-day Fridays every Friday.

Requirements

2–3 years of medical health claim adjusting experience.
Experience reading and referencing policy language for benefit administration.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Strong data entry skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze risk.
Good judgment and strong prioritizing and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Hospital indemnity claims experience is preferred.
Experience in preexisting conditions or investigations.
