About The Position

This position is for an Adjunct Instructor to teach the Teaching Writing in Grades K-6 course for the elementary education program (El Ed 435). The candidate must be available to teach on-campus daytime classes between 8 am and 4 pm and meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university. The position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Degree must be in elementary education or early childhood education, or a related field.
  • Degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Expertise in teaching at elementary and/or early childhood education levels.
  • Successful experience as a licensed K-12 public school classroom teacher, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be available to teach on-campus daytime classes (8am-4pm).
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
