About The Position

This position is for an Adjunct Instructor to teach the Introduction to Education course (El Ed 200) for the elementary education program. The instructor will be responsible for primary instruction and must be available to teach on-campus daytime classes between 8 am and 4 pm. The candidate must also meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Degree must be in elementary education or secondary education, or a related field.
  • The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Successful experience as a licensed K-12 public school classroom teacher, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate MUST be available to teach on-campus daytime classes (8am-4pm).
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
