About The Position

This position involves teaching Planning and Assessment courses for the elementary education program (El Ed 310 and El Ed 410). The candidate must be available to teach on-campus daytime classes between 8 am and 4 pm and meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university. The successful candidate is also required to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Degree must be in elementary or early childhood education or a related field.
  • Degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Expertise in elementary and/or early childhood education planning and assessment.
  • Successful experience as a licensed K-12 public school classroom teacher, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate MUST be available to teach on-campus daytime classes (8am-4pm).
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
