About The Position

This position is for an Adjunct Teacher in Teacher Education, specifically for courses ECE 334 (Intro to Early Childhood Ed) and ECE 200 (Foundations of Early Childhood Ed). The instructor will be the primary teacher for these courses within the early childhood and elementary education programs. The candidate must be available to teach on-campus daytime classes between 8 am and 4 pm and meet the university's appropriate dress and conduct standards. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Degree must be in elementary or early childhood education or a related field.
• The required degree must be completed by the start date.
• Expertise in early childhood education methods and practices.
• Successful experience as a licensed K-12 public school classroom teacher, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• MUST be available to teach on-campus daytime classes (8am-4pm).
• All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
