About The Position

This position involves delivering and managing a 3-credit-hour course in digital marketing for entrepreneurs. The role requires instruction on topics such as SEO, social media, email marketing, online advertising, AI, and other evolving digital marketing techniques. The adjunct faculty member will coordinate course design and preparation with the faculty course coordinator, mentor students outside of class as needed, and manage student assessments and grading with assistance from teaching assistants and the faculty coordinator. The primary goal is to support student learning and the achievement of established course learning outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed by the start date.
  • 3-5 years of directly relevant entrepreneurial and professional experience in the course's subject area.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • Must abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
  • Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.
  • Employees must possess a commitment to the Mission of Brigham Young University and the Aims of a BYU Education.
