About The Position

This position involves teaching Physical Science 100 based on the established department curriculum and format. The role requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Applicants are required to submit a Mission Alignment Statement, a curriculum vitae, and a cover letter. New employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold a current temple recommend and abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards. Preference is given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church. Requirements

MS degree in Physics, Chemistry, Geology or related field.
BS degree in Physics, Chemistry, Geology or related field plus two years teaching experience.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Five years of classroom instruction.
Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
