About The Position

This position involves analyzing surface chemistry results for polymer attachment to surfaces and making surface modifications on porous metal surfaces for DNA capture. The role requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Physics and Astronomy or related area (degree must be completed by the start date).
  • Experience with chemical surface functionalization.
  • Experience with spectroscopic ellipsometry layer characterization.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • Commitment to the Mission of Brigham Young University and the Aims of a BYU Education.
