About The Position

This position involves research in the Johnson/Michaelis Lab focusing on chemistry and biochemistry. The researcher will develop, construct, and test layered structures for terahertz light generation, develop new methods to characterize output from terahertz generation materials, and study the use of terahertz light to excite chiral motion in materials. The role requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in Chemistry.
  • The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • 2-3 years of Chemistry lab experience (post-undergrad) working with terahertz generation materials.
  • Must attach updated curriculum vitae, cover letter, and Mission Alignment Statement to the faculty application.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
