The Division of Online and Distance Education at Husson University invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty pool. This posting will remain open for a 90-day period to establish a pool of qualified candidates who may be considered for future online teaching or course development opportunities. Applications are reviewed as instructional and course development needs arise during the posting period. After the posting closes, applications may continue to be reviewed from the established pool based on departmental needs. Teaching and course development assignments are dependent upon factors such as student enrollment, program needs, course scheduling, and institutional priorities.

Requirements

• An earned terminal degree in the discipline or a related field (doctoral degree preferred)
• Effective communication skills to convey subject matter clearly
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to providing innovative and engaging online education

Benefits

• Compensation is based on academic credentials, course assignment and course enrollment.
• Undergraduate Courses Master's Prepared: Up to $933.33 per credit hour
• Undergraduate Courses Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour
• Graduate Courses Master's Prepared: Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour
• Graduate Courses Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: Up to $1,100.00 per credit hour
• Compensation is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the assigned course.
