About The Position

ECPI University is seeking Psychology professionals to join their faculty team. While no prior teaching experience is necessary as training and support are provided, faculty members will deliver practical, hands-on instruction via the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). The role involves creating an engaging learning environment, utilizing innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning experiences and achieve learning outcomes. Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends to support students.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution.
• 3-5 years industry experience required.
• Industry experience must be within the last 5 years.
• Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction.
• Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment.
• The highest levels of integrity at all times.
• Able to work in a 5-week course accelerated environment.
• Approachable and builds rapport quickly.
• Attentive listener, and able to see multiple perspectives.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable high-speed internet required.
• Responsible for supplying your own windows-based computer and webcam that pass the ECPI University minimum requirements test.

Nice To Haves

• 10-15 years career industry experience preferred.
• 2 years online teaching/curriculum experience.
• Strong online webinar presentation skills a plus.
• Canvas LMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical hands-on instruction through the Canvas LMS.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of students.
• Achieve learning outcomes.
• Be available evenings and weekends to support students.
• Troubleshoot software or technical concerns for students as the first point of contact.
