About The Position
The University of Pittsburgh School of Law (Pitt Law) is seeking part-time Adjunct Faculty to instruct courses in its online Master of Studies in Law (MSL) degree program. This role is for the summer 2026 and academic year 2026-2027. Instructors will be responsible for supporting student progress, providing feedback on submissions, and grading assignments, tests, and exams using existing online materials and tools.
Requirements
- Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing or teaching law.
- At least 3 years of experience in the subject matter of the course for which they are engaged.
- Experience using Canvas or a similar learning management system.
- Skill at online interaction.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Zoom.
Responsibilities
- Support and guide student progress.
- Provide detailed and substantive feedback on student submissions.
- Grade assignments, tests, and exams.
- Utilize existing online materials, tools, and procedures.
