About The Position
The Department of Natural Sciences is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach undergraduate lecture courses in Nursing Biochemistry. This 1-semester course is tailored for nursing students and covers general, organic, and biochemistry (GOB) with a focus on units and molecular/organic structure. There are two openings: one for an in-person course and one for an online asynchronous course. The in-person course meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:15-2:30 pm. Duties include delivering lectures, administering exams, and grading assignments.
Requirements
- Hold at least an MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- College-level teaching experience
- Experience utilizing learning management systems (i.e.- Canvas)
- Experience utilizing technology in the classroom
Responsibilities
- Delivering lectures in a classroom setting
- Administering exams
- Grading students’ assignments
