Adjunct, Nursing Biochemistry
About The Position
The Department of Natural Sciences invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach lecture courses at the undergraduate level. Nursing Biochemistry is a 1-semester course specifically designed for nursing students. The course covers material in general, organic and biochemistry (GOB) with emphasis on units and molecular/organic structure. There are two immediate openings: an in-person course and an online version of the nursing biochemistry course. The in-person course is scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:15-2:30 pm. The online version is asynchronous. Duties include delivering lectures in a classroom setting, administering exams, and grading students’ assignments.
Requirements
- Hold at least an MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- College-level teaching experience
- Experience utilizing learning management systems (i.e.- Canvas)
- Experience utilizing technology in the classroom
Responsibilities

- Grade students’ assignments
