About The Position

St. Norbert College is accepting applications on a continuing basis for instructors qualified to teach U.S. Politics & Government. This pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis, and applications will remain active for up to two years. Requirements

  • At least a MA degree in Political Science.
  • At least five years of professional experience in the field.
  • Demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
  • Ability to embrace the college's mission and commitment to building a vibrant, diverse, and spiritually engaged community.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Political Science is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach U.S. Politics & Government courses, including American Politics Transformed (POLI 131).
  • Fill last-minute voids in teaching schedules as needed.
  • Communicate teaching needs and interests during interviews.
  • Contribute to an educational environment that fosters intellectual, spiritual, and personal development.
