About The Position

St. Norbert College is accepting applications on a continuing basis for instructors qualified to teach U.S. Politics & Government. This pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis, and applications will remain active for up to two years. The college seeks individuals who can contribute to its mission of fostering intellectual, spiritual, and personal development within a unique Catholic, Norbertine, and Liberal Arts educational environment. The role involves teaching specific courses such as American Politics Transformed (POLI 131) and potentially filling last-minute voids. Decisions regarding hiring are at the discretion of the dean of arts and sciences.

Requirements

  • At least a MA degree in Political Science.
  • At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
  • Ability to embrace the college's mission and commitment to building a vibrant, diverse, and spiritually engaged community.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Political Science is preferred.
