About The Position

Requirements

• Meet the faculty qualifications as defined by Wayne Community College to ensure compliance with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
• All certifications and/or post-secondary credentials must be from a regionally accredited institution and submitted to Human Resources within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with computer software is required.
• Applicant must be a self-starter, a team player, and possess the ability to work well with others.
• If selected for employment, the applicant must submit to a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is desired.

Responsibilities

• Teaching courses in the subject area.
• Complete mandatory SafeColleges training within 30 days of hire and annual refresher training thereafter.
