About The Position
Wilson Community College is seeking to expand its pool of part-time/adjunct faculty for potential future openings in clinical or classroom instruction for Surgical Technology. These positions are on an as-needed basis, and the college aims to secure consistent instructors for weekly needs. Qualified and credentialed applicants will be considered for these temporary roles, which may involve clinical, classroom, or simulation lab instruction.
Requirements
- Two years of clinical experience as a surgical technologist.
- An active surgical technology certification (CST) approved through NBSTSA.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality, effective instruction in assigned courses on a part-time, temporary basis.
- Primarily conduct clinical instruction.
- Provide classroom or simulation lab instruction as needed.
